Patent Date Dec. 9th 1890 and Sept.29th 1896 On The Stamped Brass Shade Holder
The length of this pendant is 19 inches (adjustable manually by adjusting the pulley to make it longer)
Shade is 7.5 inches in diameter and about 4.5 inches deep with a 2 1/4" fitter
All untouched original patina or finish on the pulley, socket and shade holder
This is the silvered version of this shade. You will find many of these with the blue tinted mirror, of which this one is not. It is the SILVER mirror version of this type of shade.
This pendant comes with a working antique light bulb (with a tip) and the old adapter which allows the socket to be used with any standard light bulb that you would buy at the store today.
There are no chips or cracks. There is a tiny bit of fading from heat but no missing mirror on either the inside or outside of the shade itself. The fitter area has some mirror missing but is mostly covered up by the shade holder as you can see from the pictures.
The pulley has no real automatic function, is it purely decorative. There is however lots of cord and enough to manually adjust the length of the pendant to your needs by unwinding it once or twice.
